Gallatin Redrying and Storage Company, a fine leaf tobacco dealer and processor, located in Gallatin,
Tennessee, was formed in 1949 by the Owen family. With over 100 years in the tobacco business and a
successful manufacturing company in operation, the family decided to expand their organization to include
buying, selling, processing and storing of whole leaf tobacco.
Dealing primarily in Dark Fire Cured, Dark Air Cured and Broadleaf tobaccos, the company offers a variety
of processing and storage services and maintains an inventory of quality aged leaf to supply both domestic
and foreign customers. Gallatin Redrying and Storage Company is committed to providing quality products,
exceptional service, and addressing social and environmental concerns.
We are continually upgrading and improving all aspects of our operations. In 2011, to enhance quality,
improve efficiency and provide a safer and healthier environment, the company constructed a new, modern
processing facility and installed new equipment.
In 2013, to work more closely with our growers to ensure that good agricultural practices are used in
tobacco production, we became a member of Gap Connections. Additionally, we have implemented a program
of Social Responsibility in the Production of Tobacco and as part of our Quality Management System, are
ISO 9001:2015 compliant.
